Description

With such a long neck, you might assume that Mamenchisaurus lived on the top leaves of tall trees. However, some paleontologists believe that this dinosaur, and other sauropods like it, were unable to keep its neck in its full vertical position, and so instead swept their necks back and forth close to the ground as it feasted low lying shrubs.
