The Pachycephalosaurus from the schleich® DINOSAURS theme world is the largest platypus dinosaur discovered to date. It was about 4-5 metres long, weighed 450 kg and moved on two legs. It lived in North America in the late Cretaceous period. Its strongly domed skull was 20-25 cm thick. Scientists suspect that it used its skull to ram rivals or to impress them. Pachycephalosaurus means something like big-headed lizard. Schleich figures are reproduced true to life and always to scale. All figures are painted by hand. This way, the figures always correspond to reality.
