It carefully places its graceful hooves and keeps a close eye on the path. The ibex moves with more confidence than any other animal through the difficult terrain of the Alps. It climbs up to 3,500 meters high! But to eat it has to go lower. You don't find those lush alpine meadows with delicious herbs at such heights.
