The female bonobo looks very similar to a chimpanzee. No wonder: they both come from the same monkey family. However, real experts immediately recognize the bonobo by its light lips and characteristic parting in the middle. That suits the bonobo females very well, don't you think? Is the bonobo female on a lunch break? She just sits there with her hands on her knees. But maybe she just misses her playmates. Bonobos are very social and do not like to be alone. The female bonobo prefers to spend time with her entire family and of course her friends. Where has everyone gone? Hopefully someone will show up to keep her company.
