The anteater from the schleich® WILD LIFE theme world lives in the savannahs and grasslands of Central and South America. The mammal mainly feeds on ants and termites. To remove them from their nest, the anteater bores its long snout into the nest and inserts its 60 cm long, sticky tongue. The insects then stick to his tongue. Anteaters also have a bushy tail, which looks larger than it actually is due to the long hairs. Schleich's figures are reproduced faithfully and always to scale. All figures are painted by hand. This way the figures always correspond to reality.
