Seven very special ponies live at the Zonnehoeve: Jacco, Goldy, Romario, Rakki, Assa, Bobby and Rosie. One is very sweet and the other very naughty, one can jump well and the other is never afraid. But they all have one thing in common: Carolien and the riding school children would not want to miss them for anything!

Rosie is the sweetest pony at the Zonnehoeve riding school. So sweet in fact that the children on Wednesday afternoon are always arguing about who gets to ride her. That annoys Rosie, because she likes all the children equally.
On a bleak winter day, Rosie steps into a piece of barbed wire and seriously injures her leg. Everyone is terribly worried.
It is questionable whether she will ever get completely better again and whether Carolien can afford the expensive treatment...
The girls on Wednesday afternoon spontaneously forget their arguments.
