schleich DINOSAURS Brontosaurus 15027

The Brontosaurus from the schleich® DINOSAURS theme world has a long tail, an impressive body and a thin neck. The dinosaur weighed around 15 tons and was 22 meters long. Up until now, a skeleton of the Brontosaurus has been found, but no skull. However, it probably had a relatively small head, just like the Apatosaurus. The name Brontosaurus means thunder lizard. In the past, researchers assumed that the dinosaur cracked its tail like a whip. The schleich figures are reproduced true to life and always to scale. All figures are painted by hand. This way, the figures always correspond to reality.
