The feathered velociraptor makes quite an impression when it appears. It is yellow-orange in colour and has a branched, dark brown stripe on its back. In its mouth shine sharp canines, which it likes to show when it opens and closes its jaws menacingly. It has sharp claws with which the carnivore kills its prey. The two-metre-long velociraptor rears up on its hind legs and sticks its flat snout in the air. It smells something. It lets out a dangerous growl and opens and closes its mighty jaw a few times. With its sharp fangs it tears apart everything it can get its claws into. It is already gone and runs across the plain. Although its lizard skin is covered with feathers, the carnivore cannot fly. Still, it is fast enough and is hot on the heels of its prey. Get away quickly!
