The female bonobo looks a lot like a chimpanzee. No wonder: they both come from the same ape family. However, real experts immediately recognize the bonobo by those light lips and characteristic parting in the middle. That suits the female bonobo very well, don't you think? Is the female bonobo on a lunch break? She just sits there with her hands on her knees. But maybe she just misses her playmates. Bonobos are very social and don't like to be alone. The female bonobo prefers to spend time with her entire family and of course her friends. Where has everyone gone? Hopefully someone will show up who wants to keep her company.
