Are you going for gold? Become an expedition leader and race through the dense jungle in search of El Dorado. The fastest treasure hunter knows how to fill his hand with the right cards and take the best route to reach the golden city first. Both the experienced and novice prospector can, with the right tactics and equipment, stay ahead of the other expeditions and claim all the wealth for themselves.

As an expedition leader you will search for El Dorado, the mysterious city of gold. During your journey you will have to make your way through the jungle, cross raging rivers and negotiate with local tribes. Whoever reaches the end point first wins the game. During the game you play cards with which you move your playing figure. You can also use these cards to buy new, stronger cards, which are added to your personal deck. Green cards help you navigate your way through the jungle, while blue cards help you travel on water and yellow cards give you more options to purchase the best cards on the market. By choosing your cards smartly, you can put together your own deck of cards during the game.

The Quest for El Dorado is suitable for beginning players, but also offers enough challenge for advanced players. Thanks to the different game boards, a new path to El Dorado can be created with each new game. For experienced players, the game contains additional rules in the form of cave tokens.
