The Taverns of the Old Town Board Game

The Taverns of the Old City is a deckbuilding game about competing taverns, where drunkards and noblemen drink their beers and drinks. The players are innkeepers in their own establishment and try to make their pub the best in the old city by making the right investments. As an innkeeper, you attract new customers and occasionally a nobleman, which brings fame. You will also have to invest in tables, recruit staff and find suppliers of the golden liquid. Each round, the players throw and choose dice and pass them on to their neighbour. The dice determine which beers you tap and pour. Do you pour your regulars at the bar again or do you choose that rich stinker in the corner? Ultimately, it is all about victory points, which determine the winner after 8 rounds. In addition to the basic game, there are 4 modules that build on each other and offer more challenge - and fun. Game features • Ages 12 and up • 2 to 4 players • Playing time approx. 60 minutes
