Golden Horses: Roan's Rescue

Roan is a big, tough, friendly Frisian. He is perfectly happy at his best
stable in Friesland, with his owner Dieuwertje. Together they make delicious ones
outdoor rides and they are quite successful in dressage competitions. But
When Dieuwertje comes to the stable one day crying, Roan's world collapses.
Dieuwertje's mother has lost her job and they can no longer support Roan
pay. To his great sorrow he has to be sold.
His new boss is very different from Dieuwertje. Roan has to work really hard
working in a pair, together with Tjeerd. The two horses become
great friends, but also have a hard time and get little food.
Moreover, Tjeerd is terrified of water. Roan does what he can
help new friend overcome his fear. It seems to work, until she does
take part in a big competition. Something happens there that is in Roan's world
will turn it upside down again...
